Hi there! I’m Gabriela Lucia Lorenz.

I’m a UX Designer passionate for solving problems through design.

I was born and raised in Argentina. My German and Italian family roots brought me to Europe in 2012. I’ve been living in Switzerland since then.

Sports enthusiastic, I love to spend time in nature and going hiking in the Alps.

Open minded, interested in meeting diverse people and knowing about other cultures.



Approach

My work is about designing experiences. I’m interested in a holistic approach to address human needs. The result is products with creative solutions.

My approach is based in Design Thinking. For each project I adapt the framework based on its characteristics.

Expertise

I am a Lead UX Designer working in FinTech since five years. I’ve been living in Switzerland for over eight years, currently based in Zurich.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication Design and an MBA in Sustainable Business, which gives me a business approach while applying UX design principles.

My native language is Spanish. I’m fluent spoken and written in English, French and German.

I started my career as UX/UI Designer for websites and web applications, native mobile apps. Some time later I got into the Banking industry, designing end users and professional applications. I’ve worked within interdisciplinary teams and agile environments as a colleague and a team leader. I have an entrepreneurial mindset and I take a lean approach in every project.

Since two years I am the Lead UX Designer for the Front Office professional applications stream of products, leading a team of 4-8 designers in Zurich and overseas. For the past two years I have supported Product Owners by running design workshops with customers, planning product roadmaps and managing the backlog for the design team.
